Screws

Metal tiles and corrugated board are attached to the roof frame using special self-tapping screws. Screws of this type have the following design: a hexagonal head, under which it’s has a sealing washer, and the end of the screw is like drill end. The screw used in roofing must be galvanized so that it will not corrode in future, and the head can be painted to match the color of corrugated board or metal tiles.

Sandwich panels also require the use of special self-tapping screws. This type of screw is longer than roofing screws and has 2 threads. The 1st is located at the tip of the screw and has a denser pitch, and the 2nd is located at the head and has a more rare helix pitch. Self-tapping screws designed for sandwich panels also have a hex head and a washer that ensures tightness.
